Heres a few basic questions answered about in person or online trauma therapy.

How can I contact you?

To book a free 30 min chat you can book online on the 'Book a chat' tab, or email me at gemmahunttherapy@gmail.com or hit the 'Ask a question' button above. 

What happens in a session?

This can vary between individuals and also session to session. Generally we will talk and 'tap', however how we approach this and our pace will depend on what you want and need and we can gauge this in our chat and continually check in.

What happens when I contact you?

If you book a chat we can speak in person or online, if you email I will reply as soon as possible so we can arrange a time for your free 30 minute chat.

 

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on what we are working on, sometimes a few sessions is all thats required, other times ongoing therapy may feel right for you.

We will always do reviews to check we are on track to achieving your goals.

How will I know if we should work together?

I offer a free 30 minute no-obligation initial consultation, which gives both of us the opportunity to decide if we feel like a good fit to achieve your goals.

How much does it cost?

 

My fee for a 1 hour therapy session is £85 paid by bank transfer within 48 hours of the end of the session.

What happens in the free 30 minute chat?

This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little, to ask questions and to understand what you want from sessions and how we could work together to achieve that.

Is it confidential?

Yes. There are only two situations in which your case will ever be discussed with anyone else: 

1) anonymously during my clinical supervision

2) if you tell me that you or another, is in danger of serious harm.
